Psychosexual Somatics (PST) Practitioner Training obtains university accreditation and student loan approval

In further steps to make this work more accessible, the PST Practitioner Training has recently been approved for a Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychosexual Somatics Therapy by Middlesex University. Students successfully completing the one year PST training course may now be awarded the university’s award or take 60 credits and use them under the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) as points towards a further post-graduate degree such as a Masters or PhD.

Additionally, students are now eligible for a student loans under the Government’s Professional Careers Development Loans scheme.  This allows students to have the government pay for their training and then repay the loan once they have graduated.

Mike Lousada, Founder of PST says, “I am delighted at these two milestones of recognition for the course.  They are a testament to the professionalism to the team that has built this training and I know they will make this work more accessible for a broader range of students as well as increasing recognition for the validity of this approach.  “The combination of recognition by both a major UK university and the government’s acceptance of the training increase the visibility and acceptance of this important work”.
